One of the characteristics of unemployment is the high number of educated unemployed, namely someone who belongs to the labor force and is actively looking for work but has not found a job with a minimum high school education of the same level, due to factors of labor supply and lack of alignment of development planning. This study intends to analyze the educated unemployed workforce in East Kalimantan province, where the dependent variable is educated unemployment, while the independent variables are the level of education, job training, work experience, age, sex, marital status, position in the household, and region of residence. The research Model was developed from job search theory tested by logistic regression analysis. The findings of this study is that educated unemployment in East Kalimantan is influenced by the variables of gender, status / classification of residence, job training, work experience, and position in the household, while the variables of age, marital status, level of education and work experience does not affect educated unemployment.
